Stories of the black community in Williamsburg known as "Slabtown."
Sanders Memorial Park and Monument
A downtown park dedicated to Colonel Harland Sanders. Includes a bronze sculpture of the Colonel by artist Raymond Graf. Also includes a "Secret Recipe" herb garden and Monarch butterfly waystation.
Sally Gap Bluegrass Festival
Includes live music plus workshops for children and adults. Held annually at the Whitley County Industrial Park.
Old Fashioned Trading Days
A celebration of Appalachian Heritage. Features local food vendors, Bluegrass and Gospel music, handmade baskets, quilts, soaps, etc., a quilt competition, a produce competition, and more. Held every September in Court House Square.
